Bible Refuge Ministry 12-Step Program
1. (Rom 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
All are sinners.
(Gen 2:17) (Rom 5:12-19) (1Co 15:21-22)
2. (Rom 6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The price of sin is death.
3. (Heb 9:27) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Judgment follows death. A day in court.
4. (Rom 14:12) So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
All will account for themselves.
5. (Rev 21:8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
A sinner‘s final end is a lake of fire.
6. (Rom 5:8) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
God‘s love for sinners revealed.
7. (Act 20:21) Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Repentance and faith are needed.
8. (Eph 2:8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (Eph 2:9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Salvation is by faith and not works.
9. (1Co 15:1) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
(1Co 15:2) By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
(1Co 15:3) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
(1Co 15:4) And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
The church age gospel that saves.
(Act 20:24) But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
(Gal 1:8) But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
(Gal 1:9) As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
(Gal 1:10) For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
10. (Joh 1:12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Christ must be received to be saved.
11. (Rom 10:9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
(Rom 10:10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Christ is received by confessing him as Lord and Savior.
12. (2Co 5:21) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Christ takes care of sin.
