Update

It is so amazing to see God at work. The way he has had my husband's ministry all planned out since the day he got saved, and how my desire to serve the Lord has blended right in with the whole picture.

I have been in the optical industry for over 24 years, but being from Texas, which does not require licencing, I have never had to be licensed. Massachsuttes requires an optician to be licensed.  So, that meant I had to gather information on how to become licensed.  

After a great deal of praying, I ran across a position in Massachsuttes and they were looking for an optician and were excited to hear that I desired to become licensed.  One of the district managers happened to be on the optical licensing committee, and was able to set up an appointment for me to go before the board, and get the three year apprentiship based on my years in the business and knowledge and certification waved, allowing me to take the examination.

I took the examination on May 6, 2006 and made a passing score.

Now that I have my Massachsuttes optical license, I will be able to help those in need get eye glasses, and help missionaries and their families while they are in the states update their eye glasses needs.
